About me
Hello, I'm Nina, a seasoned Digital Designer with over 18 years of experience in digital products, including 6 years of exclusively working in UX for games across various platforms.
Originally from Germany, I pursued my passion for creative tech by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design before moving to New York City in 2009, where I later discovered my love for Game UX Design.
In my work, I prioritize understanding the problem at hand to create effective designs. To achieve this, I make sure to engage with stakeholders and conduct thorough user testing and research before diving into any design work. My approach as a logical problem-solver, combined with my deep understanding of UX processes, strategy, and design, allows me to create interfaces that are not only user-friendly, accessible, and intuitive but also tailored to the unique needs of each project.
My passion for Game UX Design stems from my fascination with player psychology, and I'm constantly seeking new challenges that push me to think outside the box. I strongly believe in the value of knowledge sharing and thrive in low-ego environments where collaboration and learning together are encouraged.
Beyond my work, I enjoy spending time outdoors flying dual-line kites or taking long walks with my husband and our furry companion, Skramps, a Brussels Griffon. I'm also a student pilot, constantly exploring new horizons and taking on new challenges.
